StarMark Cabinetry

I loved the look of these cabinets but the white finish just did not holdup to moderate wear. We already had two doors replaced because so much of the finish had come off. Now we have more cabinet door edges with underlying wood showing. We are a retired couple who are disappointed in these cabinets. I wish we had chosen another brand.

Got our cabinet in very poor condition! Company said that everything we are experiencing is "transit issues". But what about poor finish that is peeling off, scratches not only outside of the doors but also inside of the cabinet doors and shelves, cabinets that came in with wrong size, doors that are being installed wrong side out...etc etc.... We paid for solid wood doors and some of our cabinets came as plywood! We were getting "customer service" to the extent of guiding us how to fix the problem on the job. $30000 kitchen turned into do it yourself project as we were following instructions on how to structurally change cabinetry to get the look and functionality of what we ordered and paid for on the first place. Now Starmark claims that cabinetry is not covered by warrantee because it was altered on the job and not on the manufacturing plant.
We have been under construction since January. We have not used our kitchen yet...not all cabinets can be installed due to condition/size they came in, not all plywood doors have been replaced. Kitchen looks old due to poor quality of finish. Starmark and Direct depot kitchens (our dealer) does not reply to us. It is not about bad quality anymore, it is about how issues are being handled. Both companies show no respect to the customer and no desire to resolve issues.

I purchased Starmark for my kitchen approximately 10 years ago. We paid extra for the low sheen finish on cherry cabinets. The finish is streaked - looks horrible when the light shines on the cabinetry. And after 10 years the cabinets look old. We paid $16,000.00 at that time - wish I would have gone elsewhere. I tried calling Starmark to report the streaking and no one will return my phone call.

We built our home over ten years ago with StarMark Cabinetry in our kitchen, all of our bathrooms, and home office. There might be a few things I would change about our home, but the cabinetry isn't one of them. I still love them! THIS IS MY DREAM KITCHEN. The order went in via internet and I got my estimated delivery date within a week. The cabinets came quicker than expected - can't complain about that - but its not something all can expect.
THE QUALITY IS AWESOME- the drawers slide so easily and at the end shut themselves with a sigh. The door also close with a gentle sound. The color and quality of the wood is amazing. The depth and richness of the tone is beautiful. The cabinet choices seemed infinite - so I could put in exactly what I needed. This was truly a dream come true. Shop StarMark.
