Fieldstone Cabinetry

Fieldstone cabinets needs to get better quality control. Cabinets are showing up with split face frames. Some cabinets just fall apart when you unboxed them. I’ve had to rebuild them and fix so many problems with Fieldstone. Personally, I would not buy a Fieldstone cabinet.

Fieldstone is a great cabinet line to use for any project. Their ability to customize is limitless. Highly recommend the product.

Good quality in finish and construction

Ordered these cabinets through a local dealer. We were told they are some of the best cabinets on the market and are a quality product and a company that stands behind their product. That was not at all the experience we had. When the cabinets arrived we went over them and found many problems. The local dealer came over to look at and record all the problems we found. After almost 5 weeks of waiting for an answer we found the only thing that Fieldstone would cover was a toe kick that was a warped and discolored piece of wood and several crown molding pieces that had large dents and bowed. They did not cover the 3 upper cabinets that had major manufacturing flaws and issues. The glue did not even go along the seam. On one cabinet they tried several times to get the seam but missed terribly both times. One cabinet had the glue no where near the seam, but in the middle of the cabinet. The wood was actually cracked on 2 cabinets. Another cabinet used a piece of wood that had some type of paper cover that looked like wood and was partially attached to the cabinet. We were told that Fieldstone would not cover the cabinets. I wish I could download pictures so you could see the issues.

My husband and I are building a custom home and due to Fieldstone Cabinets our move-in date has been pushed back 3 times. Our house is done, but Fieldstone cabinets keeps pushing our delivery date back, with no guarantee of shipment. We paid a great deal for these cabinets and are incurring thousands in double mortgage and rent payments each month. Although we have been understanding due to COVID, other cabinet manufacturers are not experiencing delays of this magnitude. We were initially told 15 weeks and are now looking at 25-30 weeks. I would caution anyone thinking of purchasing Fieldstone cabinets to go elsewhere so you don't experience the financial and mental stress my husband and I (along with our two babies) have been put under due to this situation.

We are so sorry about our decision to buy Fieldstone cabinets with white inset drawers and doors for the kitchen of our new home. When the shipment arrived, 2 of the cabinets were not square, and another cabinet was primed but had never been painted!! We sent pictures to our sales rep, and he re-ordered these cabinets for us under Fieldstone’s warranty. After waiting 3 weeks, the replacement cabinets arrived, and the same 2 cabinets were out of square again!!! NO QUALITY CONTROL WHATSOEVER!! Our salesman re-ordered them again, but at this point we and our builder can’t delay the job any longer and need to proceed with countertops, so we will have to live with island cabinets which are not square. The 18” cabinet measures 18” in front and 17” in back!! The builder pried open the back of this cabinet and braced the back so we can use it, but for what we spent, we feel ripped off with this make-shift fix. The other cabinet can’t be altered like that, so our 10’ long island is not straight. I wish I could post pictures with this review. No one from the company called us to explain nor apologize. Stay away from Fieldstone — OVERPRICED GARBAGE!!!

We recently had a 7.0 earthquake in our area of Alaska. While many of our friends and neighbors lost some or all of their dishes because their cabinet doors opened or their shelves fell off their brackets, ours were kept safe and sound in our Fieldstone cabinets.
The doors of the cabinets stayed closed during the quake, and all of the shelves stayed on their sturdy brackets.
Besides being beautiful and functional, these cabinets are tough!

We have gotten so many compliments on our kitchen remodel. Working with Colleen at Dream Kitchens in Brighton was a wonderful experience and we are glad we followed her excellent advice and went with Fieldstone cabinets. They are absolutely beautiful and very high quality. We love how roomy they are and how easy it is to organize our things so we have easy access to everything. We are also really enjoying the soft close feature. Our kitchen looks so elegant, like it came straight out of a magazine- we couldn't be happier!

Generally, these cabinets are good. One area they appear to be weak in is peninsula cabinets. Mine was not well constructed - out of square to the point that the shelf would not fit. Also, one side bowed out and the casing not attached to the carcass. The Fieldstone representative was not very helpful, basically telling me how to fix it myself. One of the wall cabinets was also built out of square. I was able to straighten it out when installing. So, there quality control is suspect. Considering the construction techniques, cabinets should always be square.

We remodeled our kitchen and wanted quality cabinets that were beautiful and affordable. Our kitchen designer, Angela at Kitchen Choreography in Traverse City, Michigan recommended Fieldstone cabinets and we are delighted with that decision. The cabinets are elegant and the options gave us more room and usefulness than we'd had before. We have not had any warranty issues other than a drawer slide that had to be replaced due to our breaking the old one and the replacement came no charge and fixed the problem.

We have friends who are "custom" cabinetmakers which are very expensive. Fieldstone gave us a great alternative to allow us to keep our project in budget with a high quality product.

Angela at Kitchen Choreography was fantastic in helping us lay out the kitchen and working with us to insure we got the kitchen we'd hoped for. In addition to the cabinets she helped us with counter top selection, lighting layout and other details which has provided us with a kitchen we'd only imagined was possible within our budget. She's the BEST !!

We love our fieldstone cabinets. They look as good as they did on the first day we installed them.

Beautiful finish and colors. The Fieldstone cabinets that were installed for my extensive kitchen renovation MADE THE RENO! Soft close drawers are a wonderful option. The drawers are deep enough to keep my pots stacked in... I LOVE THAT. ($5 Coffee Gift Card Provided)

I am the person that wrote the peninsula review above.
A second field rep. ordered a new carcass that came correctly built.
However, I was left with installing the doors and disposing of the old unit.

I now ordered a 6 foot bathroom cabinet.
Same problems as the peninsula.
The unit is out of square, the back is longer than the front.
The drawers were not put in square to the front, so one side sticks out well past the door.
It is immediately obvious that there is something wrong.
Fieldstone quality control appears to be none existent.
I will not order any more special(custom) items from Fieldstone.
Considering the price of Fieldstone products, I expect much better from the company.

I own A Kitchen Design shop and have had major problems recently with the quality of Fieldstone cabinets. The painted finish is inconsistent and getting problems repaired is almost impossible. Fieldtsone considers poor workmanship at delivery to fall under warranty. They will replace items over and over again with the same poor quality item and you are responsible for the labor costs- which in my case was thousands of dollars. I would stay away from the product at this time until they improve their quality control.
