Kraftmaid

I have not had my cabinets very long (four months) but they look great, and I have not had any problems. They look great, feel great and had no damages during the shipping of cabinets.

After 8 years the finish started flaking off the top and bottom of the base cabinet doors but not the drawers. Obviously a defect with the finish application. Kraftmaid declined the warranty citing normal wear and tear. What exactly do they cover with lifetime warranty? Bogus

We worked with a great designer and started our process. Cabinets were ordered and when delivered our corner cabinet was missing along with the Corner sink cabinet that essentially had to be built from scratch. We waited 3 weeks For a cabinet that the shop forgot to make. We had a few issues with door scratches or draw issues but we’re quickly resolved with a friendly staff at Kraft made. The one issue or caution I would provide is the delivery we had multiple deliveries and we need to be very conscientious of the delivery company and when it was scheduled versus when it was delivered. Overall we are very happy With the kitchen now that it is completed

Of 15 cabinets ordered, 4 had obvious defects. Sink base bottom had gaps, one cabinet frame was constructed with visibly rotted plywood, several had gaps in the frames, one came without shelves. They had been ordered a month before scheduled installation, yet a month later I have not been able to get replacements and was told to remove the doors on defective cabinets and install on the new ones. No idea when I will be able to proceed with my remodel because my contractor had to move to another job rather than sit idle. My Lowes salesperson has tried to help, told me I am not the first problem with problems like this. These were recommended as high quality: what a joke.
