I paid a lot of money for just four Aristokraft Nantucket cabinets. I thought I was buying better than big box brands sold at Lowes and Home Depot.

They are not better. Particle board sides and structural supports. Plastic rollers for drawer slides instead of ball bearing extension slides. The original cabinets in my condo were made in '78 and even those have ball bearing slides. These slides are something you'd find at Walmart for $5.

I paid nearly twice the price of Home Depot cabinets, and got the same quality.
