We just purchased some custom KraftMaid cabinets from Lowe’s to add to our already existing cabinets. We took a lot of time and effort to make sure we were getting exactly what we wanted and that the cabinets would match what we already had in place. We thought we were set, but our cabinets came broken and the stain was not even close to what we had selected. All of the drawers in one of the cabinets were broken and the cabinets overall were cheaply made with glue all over the inside. We had spent extra money for the outer sections of the cabinets to have a flush finish, and they looked almost exactly the same as the other sides that would be mounted to the wall. The color on the side of the cabinets is completely different from the doors-our contract says that the color may be different-but we didn’t expect this much. We are overall just totally underwhelmed with the entire experience and super disappointed after spending so much money on a gigantic disappointment. We are hoping to get some answers from Lowe’s/Kraftmade, otherwise we will need to stain and fix the cabinets on our own. More money and more problems.
