The purchase of Woodmark kitchen cabinets has been one of the worst decisions of my life. The cabinets arrived with doors and drawers that would not open and close properly. Cabinets were built with shelves that were approximately one-half the depth of the cabinet interiors. The net result being that only one-half the cabinet interior space was useful. In addition, the assembly quality of the cabinets was very poor with stripped hinge screws and misaligned doors, The Woodmark response to these problems was shocking, undoubtably the worst customer service experience imaginable with no concern whatever for the customer. The Woodmark representatives were rude and combative and refused to resolve the above problems. I had to hire a local craftsman to fix the problems that were fixable. The remaining problems have remained a source of irritation every time that I walk into my kitchen. In addition, I have discovered that the materials used in the cabinet construction are of poor quality. In particular, cabinet hinges and drawer slides break frequently and have to be replaced. In summary, doing business with Woodmark has proven to be enormously disappointing and frustrating.
