We recently purchased a set of Shaker style cabinets from our local Lowe’s after being informed of the quality of these cabinets. They are anything but quality for the ridiculous amount we paid! FOUR out of seven cabinets had major splitting in the rear along the seam where the rear wall met the sides. Our contractor was amazed and said he had never seen anything like it before. Upon contacting Lowe’s we were told diamond indicated it was not a warranty issue and instead “normal” ware!?!?! We sent videos and photos and after several emails they agreed to replace all four pieces. We are so displeased with the quality of this product for the money we spent we are turning to social media to warn others of our experience, which regrettably mirrors many of the comments on this page. We encourage folks to turn to their local or community Facebook pages, many communities have their own pages where people share experiences of contractors or product experiences as a way to inform neighbors of good or bad experiences. We are doing just that and putting a link to this site along with an annotation of our experience with the Diamond product. Perhaps collective action like that will impact Diamond enough for them to take quality control seriously. We wish we had found this space before we spent over 8k on their crap product!
