If you are going to buy cabinets, DO NOT BUY THESE!! We spent 10,000. on these cabinets and have had them for 3 months. The hinges are all coming loose and the screws are stripped. The finish can be damaged by just hitting it lightly. We are still waiting for new doors for the ones that came in damaged. You are better off to pay more and get something that is good. These are the worst things I have ever purchased. Worthless!!!!!

I am sorry to hear that you had a bad experience with the American Woodmark cabinets. I am a kitchen designer at XXXXX and I have also made and installed cabinets as well. In the seven years I have been designing kitchens I can say this with certainty, anytime there has been an issue our American Woodmark representative has resolved the issue for our customers in a timely manner. One of the reasons I enjoy designing with their cabinets is the great value and quality I can offer my customers.

One question I have is who did your cabinet installation? Usually one of the last steps is adjusting the door hinges. They have 3 positions that can be adjusted and if a screw is not tight when the adjustment is complete, it will work itself loose over time. I hope the situation with the door replacement was resolved. If you are still having issues let me know and I will see if there is anything I can offer to help out.
