Press wood garbage shelves that are flaking apart. No easy way to move the shelves without taking the doors off. Veneer hanging over the edge of the sides. You can see daylight between the seams. the double wide shelf is impossible to move or remove.

Hardware is nice and it looks good when you have parts that are correct. For all the wood finish it’s all fine. The white however is very poor. You can see the primer and the white comes off as if it was not painted properly. There are marks and gauges in probably 30% of everything we received. Your designer is “fighting “ with the warranty department. Delays in shipping that last months. Boxes are warped and the edging has black glue (or dirt in the glue) everywhere and looks worse then the Walmart furniture we have. The company explained it was probably dirt from shipping as the glue was not dry but did not offer to pay for it. It seems like they know they quality is poor and count o. The carpenters to hide all the faults. We had the same price from other manufacturers so I do not think that the ‘cheap’ price correlates to the quality you receive. We keep being told this is not normal and it’s the first time they experience this but yet it’s not hard to read the same issues on all of the reviews.

After finally being given a delivery date for 4+months after we ordered, our contractor gutted and prepped for cabinetry installation. The cabinets didn’t show up. Now weeks later we have no kitchen and no delivery date. Be smart…stay away from this brand and it’s related mastercraft owned companies.

The trim they use looks cheap. Most of the boxes, that are particle, are finished with a blonde wood. We have 1 that the interior is white. Not sure why they would use a finish that doesn't match the cabinets or is at least a more popular color. It glows on my white walls from the top so I now have to cover the tops of the cabinets and everytime I open my white cabinets, that I spent a good amount of money for, it's really ugly and looks like I bought my cabinets at Wal-Mart. I have yet to fully move into the kitchen and already I'm worried about the finish. I really don't think the cabinets will hold up. We got the soft close and most of the time they don't close, so all the cabinets end up staying open 3 inches unless you push hard. Moving the shelves once they are installed is incredibly frustrating and causes knicks and damage to the shelves. I really wish I had gone another route.

It would seem that they need to put more than one or two coats of paint on the product when they finish it, very very poor and I would never buy these again.

We had a new home built in 2018 and Kitchen Craft were the custom installers selected by the Builder. We selected a white finish which we believed would be neutral and would not be dated quickly. When not choosing a wood option (oak, cherry, maple, etc. And not a veneer) these cabinets are built out of particleboard. For this option I would say the value to quality ratio is not that high but it works well enough. The fit and finish are quite decent but there are imperfections here and there, which are minor and can be overlooked. We selected an option with rollout shelving which is very convenient. The shelving and hardware are quite durable and work well. The flaw lies in how the hardware is mounted to the cabinet. They use two mounts on the front and a single mount on the back of each rail. They need to have two mounts on the back of the rail instead of one. When you load up the shelving with weight the screws work themselves out, particularly where there is only one mount. If you don’t catch it in time, as we did not, the screw will pull out of the particleboard and destroy it. Where are you do catch it in time, you will be constantly tightening the screws for the mounts. This is required on a weekly basis. Do you want that kind of maintenance? If the particleboard tears because the screw is too loose, your options are limited. Kitchen Craft’s recommendation is for the owner (not Kitchen craft during the warranty period) to put in a bigger/longer screw if there is an adjacent panel into which the screw can “bite”. I ended up having to drill a larger diameter hole, install a wood plug, and re-drill the hole for the screw. In my opinion all the screws should be glued in place during fabrication, or assembly. This way they don’t work themselves out and there is little chance of the particleboard tearing apart. In this respect the particleboard construction would be adequate. Overall, the cabinets look very nice, function well (except for the installation of the shelf rails), and we are satisfied. If you order these style of cabinets, I highly recommend removing all the roll of shelving and glueing in all the screws before use. Particleboard is pretty standard material to use, but they need to pay attention to the execution of assembly. This, in my opinion, is where they fell short. There are other cabinet makers that can definitely build better but likely cost more too.

For this price, with a lifetime warranty. you just can't beat it.
I like the acrylic finishes and the wood color thermofoils.

I just waned to say how pleased I was with the work. The kitchen is semi custom but I really feel we got a perfect kitchen with unbelievable finishing. we priced out a few kitchens and this was the best we can do with the high end we wanted. I'm so glad we went with kitchen craft. their quality seems great. i had another kitchen previously and you cant compare!

They are a foil over MDF contemporary looking setup. The foil is peeling off the doors, drawer fronts, and trip pieces. Not a good design. Of course cabinets are out of warranty, and that style no longer made, so no way to fix, other that a complete redo. Be careful what you buy. All my friends and guest know who made these cabinets!!!

The doors are warping and shrinking. Finish is terrible as it is wearing off after only 2 years. We paid a lot of money and expected better service from the warranty department. We were told that our problem was due to a humidity issue in our home. Funny only the cabinets have a problem as our all pine ceiling and other solid wood furniture in our home is completely fine. We have been dealing with the warranty department for 2 years now and still no results. Very unprofessional. I would not suggest this company to anyone looking to invest in cabinets.

Straight from the factory our white Lexington cabinets showed up with blue glue on the outside and inside of the cabinet boxes, black marks in the paint, scratches in the doors, dirt painted into the doors, gouges in the finish, warped doors, split doors and more. In a few cases, we asked for replacement doors and the replacements came in looking even worse than the original. This happened for one door four times! We are very sad we chose kitchen craft - we expected better quality. In addition, I have written to their customer service twice, with no response. It seems like they are having a huge crisis in the finish department.... Do yourself a favor and go with a different brand.
