I had a hinge break. It was a unique style hinge for a corner cabinet that has a double folding door. I figured one of the local big box stores would have a suitable replacement, but after several attempts and several returns, I figured that I was going to have to look elsewhere for a solution. We had a sticker on the inside of our cabinet under the sink that said the manufacturer was Norcraft so I went to their website hoping they had an online store. They did not, so I clicked on their contact link, explained the situation and asked if they could either sell me a replacement or point me in the direction of a distributor that could. I would have been perfectly happy with either of those resolutions, but apparently Mid Continent Cabinetry hold themselves to a higher level of customer service. About a day later, I received an email response asking for my address so they could send me a replacement hinge… At no cost… to me. At this point Mid Continent Cabinetry had already gone above and beyond, but they weren’t done. When the part arrived today, there were two hinges in it with screws, just in case another hinge breaks. That is how customer service should be done! Kuddos to Mid Continent Cabinetry!
